Our church is located at 111 Fowler Place, Odessa NY., and parking is located out front and along the northern side of the building. If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We like to keep them free for people who need assistance.
Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress.
When you walk in, you’ll be most likely be greeted by Susan Spencer and a warm hug. Feel free to hang your coat to the right of the doors. The main restrooms are to your left. As you continue through the fellowship hall toward the sanctuary, you’ll be greeted by Jason who ensures everyone has a service bulletin. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.
Our worship style blends both traditional and contemporary worship practices and music. We share communion the first Sunday of every month and observe the seasons of the church year such as, Advent, Lent, and Pentecost. We value multi-generational worship. All ages participate in our opening of worship which includes music, a call to worship, invocation, recitation of the Lord's Prayer, and blessing of offerings. Children through grade six then leave to receive age-appropriate teaching and activities while teens and adults remain for pastoral teaching.
We look forward to welcoming you and getting to know you better through post-service fellowship and any of our many church gatherings which are posted on the EVENTS tab.
